Samantha Williams

Sam began riding at the age of 2 and her love for horses has continued to grow since then. She evented throughout Area 1 in high school and college up to Preliminary level and was also a member of the Mount Holyoke College Equestrain Team.  After college she became a working student for dressage rider Arlene "Tuny" Page and became fascinated with the sport.  With Tuny she was able to travel to Wellington FL and to Conrad Schumacher's stable in Germany.  After 2 years of incredible learning with Tuny, Sam spent 5 years as assistant to Christopher Hickey of Dressage Associates.  Sam then built up her own clientele in Western Mass and operated her business out of Fuller's Horse Farm for 12 years with a 2 year position as head trainer for a private farm in Rhinebeck, NY.  Sam also returned to Mount Holyoke to teach both dressage and hunt seat in the PE program there and assisted Carolyn Fuller-Coggins with coaching the Williston Fuller IEA team.  Sam has been teaching and training professionally for 18 years, has earned her USDF Bronze and Silver Medals and has helped her students excel at all levels.  Sam has also become a competent FEI trainer and competitor, most notably on Sue Woodhouse's "Prime Time" who she competed at Intermediate 1 and her own "Realist S" aka "Relkino" who  she partnered with when he was 5 and who is now schooling at Prix St. George.  Sam's long term training influences are Leslie Kornfeld, Barend Heilbron, Conrad Schumacher and Shannon Dueck.  She has also ridden in clinics with Lilo Fore, Ulla Salzgeber, Kyra Kyrklund, Felicitas von Neumann-Cosul, Wilma van Bergen, Lucy MacLennen, Sandy Osborne and Bill Warren and has worked with Doug Cross with Natural Horsemanship.  Sam has a particular interest in young horses and has imported promising Oldenburg youngsters for clients and for sale.  She also enjoys figuring out horses who need an open mind and creative approach to gain confidence to excel.

"It is our responsibility as stewards to be advocates for the horse, to reflect in our teaching, training and care a deep commitment to the idea of helping the horse be successful, setting horse and rider up to do the right thing"

Jon Turati

Jon graduated from Kentucky Horseshoeing School and has been shoeing since 1995.  He brings a detail oriented, biomechanics centered approach to his practice.  He is passionate about his work, loves the horses and is continually searching for new knowledge.  Jon is property manager extraordinaire and can be seen anywhere and everywhere around the farm: From watching horses go to talking with clients to tending his gardens, he is truly the backbone of Labyrinth Farm.

Delia MacDonald

Delia developed a love for horses at a young age. She followed that passion to Essex Agricultural and Technical Institute where she graduated at the top of her class as an Equine Science Major. During that time she competed with the FFA to the National level in both Equine judging and Equine Entrepreneurship  earning personal awards in both. Continuing on in the industry Delia managed her own boarding facility where she focused on training pleasure horses and coaching students at the local show level. Now as the manager at Labyrinth Farm she focuses on the day to day care of all of our equine residents and continues to expand her knowledge in Dressage. When not at the farm she continues to use her Massachusetts license as she instructs beginner through intermediate students in both English pleasure and gymkhana.  Delia brings a broad base of knowledge, years of experience with horses and people and a great sense of humor to the farm.

Ralph (Tony) Williams

Ralph and Julie Williams purchased Labyrinth Farm in 1996.  It was important to Ralph to have a farm where the family horses could live as naturally as possible and from which he could pursue his own loves, trail riding and jumping.  He also hoped one day his daughter might run a business on the family property and in 2016 this hope became reality.  Ralph can be seen regularly trailering out to different spots for pleasure riding and helping with the general up keep of the farm.
